That’s why this golden milk with dark chocolate recipe is just what we need when we’re craving a warm winter sip. Created by recipe developer and food photographer Murielle Banackissa, our version of golden milk is full of nutrients. Not only does it have antioxidant-packed turmeric, but it also features one of our favourite dark chocolate varieties, which gives this popular drink added richness.

This decadent hot chocolate with a healthy twist will be your go-to winter drink.
- To a small saucepan, add milk, water, ginger, turmeric, black pepper, cinnamon, chopped Lindt Excellence 78% Cacao and maple syrup.
- Cook the mixture over medium heat, whisking constantly until all the chocolate has dissolved.
- Remove from the heat and strain through a sieve. Discard the grated ginger and black pepper bits.
- Serve warm as is or topped with whipped cream and shaved Lindt Excellence 78% Cacao.
