This quick and easy dark chocolate avocado pudding makes a great dessert or snack. Plus, the addition of nutrient-rich avocado—which is loaded with healthy fats—makes it extra creamy, and the perfect partner for this smooth dark chocolate with notes of cherry, orange and vanilla. Now that’s what we call a power couple.


  1. Melt the chocolate.
  2. Cut open the avocados and, after removing the pit, scoop out the flesh and place it into the bowl of a food processor and add the milk, dates, apple sauce, melted chocolate, salt and maple syrup.
  3. Blend for 3-4 minutes until the mixture is perfectly smooth.
  4. Scoop the pudding into 4 medium bowls and garnish with chopped nuts if desired.
